Quick fixes

Cancel your subscription

  • Subscriptions are billed and cancelled by Apple, not by us.
  • In the app: Profile → Subscription → Manage Subscription.
  • Or on your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

Restore a purchase

  • Sign in with the same account you subscribed on.
  • Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases.
  • On the paywall, Restore is at the bottom.

Restoring works on any iPhone signed in to the Apple ID that paid.

Delete your account

  • Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete my account.
  • Your profile, meals, photos and routines are erased from our servers.

It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel an App Store subscription — do that first.

Export your data

  • Profile → Privacy & Data → Export my data.
  • You get everything we hold as a JSON file: profile, preferences, meals, routines and recommendations.

Photos are listed by reference rather than embedded.

Common questions

A scan failed or got stuck. What now?

Check your connection and try again — analysis happens on our server, so a scan can't finish offline. If you've scanned many times in a row, wait a few minutes; there's a per-account limit. If it keeps failing, email us with roughly when it happened.

How accurate are the calorie and sodium numbers?

They're estimates. Portions judged from a photo are genuinely hard, and a photo can't show the oil in the pan or the salt in a sauce. Packaged foods are checked against food databases, which is far more reliable. Treat whole-food estimates as a starting point and edit anything that matters.

Can I edit or delete a meal?

Yes. Open the meal from your log to adjust the portion or the ingredients, or swipe it to delete. Your totals and bloat score recalculate straight away.

How do I change my daily targets?

Profile → Daily Targets. Set any of the six goals yourself or pick a preset. The defaults come from your height, weight, age and sex, so keeping those current in Personal Information keeps them sensible.

Why does the app tell me to stop eating?

When a meal takes the day past your calorie budget or your sodium goal, Kally says so once — and suggests something light if you're genuinely hungry. Either alert can be turned off in Profile → Reminders.

What happens to my photos?

They're resized on your phone, sent to our server and analysed there — never with your account attached, and never used to train a model. Stored copies sit in a private bucket only your session can open. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

The fine print
